The WD-H72 is a .8x wide perspective adapter for any XL-series Canon camcorder. The XLs all have 72mm lens threads. This adapter is not compatible with 72mm threads of individual lenses but rather only with XL camcorders, which have internal lenses.
The lens will serve you well in shooting in confined spaces, whether indoors or outdoors, and in shooting scenery, in which case you’’ll be able to get more scenery into your shot.
